Pairings Celebration Potluck!

Usually the potlucks at Pairings Portland have an educational theme. This one is different. It's pure celebration! A celebration of 1 year since this location (Pairings Portland Wine Shop) opened its doors (1 year to the day actually).

How it'll work?

You bring a dish that you would make when celebrating something. Anything! Please have the ingredients in your dish written out on a little card. Salad, snack, appetizer, entree, dessert. Whatever, it's all good! The food is out for all to share.

To invite some pairing fun, I've chosen 5 favorite 'pairing wines'  that I consistently go to for being overall food friendly wines. They will be poured till done starting at 6. You can go back & forth and taste away or just have a glass of this, then a glass of that, ...

The 5 wines?

-Kuentz Bas Cremant d'Alsace

-Punta Crena Lumassina

-Domaine Chanrion Cotes de Brouilly

-Correggia Barbera d'Alba

-Bottex Bugey Cerdon 'La Cueille'

$25 per person for the flow of wine.

A little bit more:

1.  At 7, 8 & 9 there will be a drawing (all in attendance are entered) for free tickets to future events.

2. Whosever dish is voted to be the favorite of the night, will receive a free membership to 'The Pairings Club' ($100 value).

* All are asked to sign a waiver to be responsible for your eating choices since the food is coming from lots of folks like yourself.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
