Have a recipe to share or just looking for ideas of what to cook? This event is all about getting together and sharing some of your favorite recipes with other people who are passionate about cooking. We'll talk about food and recipes from around the world and also share opinions. If you have any cooking techniques that you would like to improve on or just want to be a better cook at home or in the restaurant, I will be more than happy to answer any questions you have and give out some friendly tips and pointers.

Come out to Lucky Lab Brew Pub @ 6pm if anyone has any food ideas or favorite recipes that they would like to exchange or just want to get better at cooking. I'll be hanging out there until at least 8:30pm. Please bring a copy of some of your favorite recipes or a cookbook if you're planning on sharing some recipes. Chefs and culinary geeks are definitely welcome!

I bought a set of cookbooks from the 1960s. The recipes are "cooks' favorites"-- you know, something Marjorie came up with, not anything you'd find in a food mag. Most of the dishes sound a bit kooky. Anyway, I had an idea that some other Foodies with a sense of adventure might enjoy a potluck comprised of these curious dishes. I'll bring the cookbooks to the Meetup.
