Perhaps it should have been a HUGE token of peace rather than a small.  No one from the foodie group should be excluded!

Dear Kevin,

Seriously, what about starting an "Exclusiavely Asians" Meetup? All members could be invited to every event.

Thinking further... To me, it would be unkind to have a membership list (as with the Foodie Meetup) and then exclude some members from some of the group events. (Imagine a Foodie member setting up a Foodie Meetup event at a German restaurant and specifying that only members of European ancestry could attend, and a questionaire would be sent to help determine who qualified. OUCH!)

Let's be kind to each other.

Hello Foodies,
Just wanted to say hello and make a small token of peace offering to those who've raise an issue with an event that had a race qualification.
I have to admit that it was poorly designed attempt at creating more events for targeted audience in our group.
I'll take that into a consideration and try avoiding these divisive topics like race or age in event qualification.  I'll have to be more creative when it comes to themed event to give more chances for you to participate.
My apology if it rubbed a wrong way but as you know almost all of our events are very inclusive to all of our members.
Stay tune for more activity events in the spring calendar and we'll be hitting lots of places in and around the town for those who likes to burn calories as well as taking on some. :)
