Enjoy theme-based Euros. Played many, most just a few times each. I'm mycroftH on BoardGameGeek so check out my game list there for games to bring. Want to meet west-side players as I live on the mountain above Newberg. Prefer playing during the day.
Goa, Colosseum, El Grande, Puerto Rico, Princes of Florence, Tigris & Euphrates, Cuba, Medici, Silverton (have); Pillars of the Earth, Age of Empires III, Empire Builder (don't have).
Abstract strategy - chess-like (except I did enjoy Ingenious, which I played once). Don't like games that require lots of quick math (addition); I'm too slow at that.
"Meetups out on west side?? I dream of a group here on the mountain that plays something other than Bunco."
Friendly gamers, welcoming and ready to teach newcomers. Wide variety of games hit the tables.

"Brian's right. Picking games and divvying the group is the hardest part. Analysis Paralysis reigns: Long, short, number of players per game, other commitments. ..."
"Fun as always. Oltre Mare, Taj Mahal, Endeavor, TransAmerica, others hit the tables. Glad to see some new faces and welcome back some who've been missing for awhile."
Conquest Oregon and Rainy Day auction
"I’m really looking forward to the new Conquest Oregon to be held October 3 & 4, 2009, at the Washington County Fairgrounds, Hillsboro...."
