Please join us for a delightful afternoon at this charming French boulangerie/patisserie (bakery/pastry shop) bordering Lake Oswego's Millennium Park, which overlooks Lakewood Bay. I have already run events here over many years for other groups, so I can vouch for the venue and setting.
Their website will give an idea of the ambiance and offerings. The coffee, tea and food are great! Please be sure to take a look at it. The URL is: http://www.sainthonorebakery.com/stores_lake_oswego.html. BEER & WINE are also available.
There is outdoor seating and also there are numerous benches in the plaza itself, which should make for very enjoyable socializing.
This event is being held in the late afternoon so that you will be able to do other activities during the day. Also, it makes for more space for us, as the cafe and park should be less crowded at this time.
If it is or gets wet outside, our social will still take place; we will stay indoors. Please note that there may not be enough seating for everyone at all times inside the cafe, even though we are starting relatively late in the day when things quiet down. But there is nothing wrong with standing around and socializing!
I will have a MEETUP sign to identify us, in case you don't recognize us.
NOTE TO NEW MEMBERS OF "New and Not So New in Town": These coffee/tea socials are a great way for you to meet other members and make new friends. I make sure everyone gets introduced to each other and plugged into the loop.
