Monthly Hack Night

Let's get together and build cool stuff.

Bring your computer and your Python projects and come hack with us from 6-9pm on fourth Tuesdays!

Never written Python before? No problem. There will be Pythonistas at the ready to mentor beginners. Anyone at any level of Python experience is welcome and invited to join us!

This month we'll also be trying out a coding exercise known as the randori, which involves learning from your fellow Pythonistas via pair programming and frequent rotation.

**Note: Please RSVP if you're planning to come so we can set up the right number of tables and chairs. :)

I'm fairly new to Portland. I've worked with python for a couple of years now. Looking forward to meeting other python coders in the area.

Unfortunately, I'll only be able to make it for the first hour or so.

Hoping to work on a GeoDjango API projet, or a recent late-night eureka idea involving whiskey taste profile mapping and Flask...

Disabled in S.E Portland OR.= 97206. With help I would go, no worries though, next time I'll schedule more thoroughly ahead of 'enough' time.

I am new to Python and am interested in "grepping" logfiles for errors, warnings and information. I would then like to ignore some known messages and save the interesting stuff. Most messages are 1-3 lines. Should I start with a parsing module of some type?

Fun! I have a couple small hack projects I've been wanting to move forward on. I should be in PDX that week. If so I'll see you there!
