Forgot to mention in my feedback comment that I really appreciated seeing Zine. I'm planning to see how viable it really is as a replacement for my WordPress instances; high hopes! Will Portland be the first to host a ZineCamp? Very cool to think about a well-accepted Python blog engine that is good hackable code.

Loved the Werkzeug and VPython presentations. We'll have to explore turtle (or was it frog?) a bit more :-) Great group, and some fun conversations. Can't wait till next month!

if you're lucky enough to have ArcGIS on a laptop, bring it next week - we can poke around!

Perhaps... the studio I work at occasionally works with ArcGIS, and we've got a couple of projects in the pipeline that might warrant taking a closer look. I'm a total newbie so the thought of taking on that challenge is a bit daunting :)

i think i probably did some ArcGIS scripting in college, but with VBA :( i'd love to try it again though - are you planning to do some scripting on it with Python?

I'm curious if anyone in the group has any experience scripting for ArcGIS?
