Hi John, I have been reading a book called Shantaram, which is an epic novel... parts of the book deal with philosophical/spiritual discourse, could be great starting points for discussion. For instance, they just mentioned two questions which, according to this character, are the fundamental questions to ask any guru or teacher before you decide to study with them:What is an objective, universally acceptable definition of good&&evil?What is the relationship between consciousness & matter?--Amy

Not sure if I'll be there next Tuesday. It might be a good idea to call and confirm with Caldera on using the upstairs space. The guy there said it'd be fine to reserve it for every other Tuesday, which I did, and he was hoping for at least 10 or 15 people since it's a big space. Their number is [masked].
