Why are you interested in the Semantic Web?

It's a representation and set of tools that I want to investigate and learn from.

What is your general background in technology, data modeling, and philosophy?

Started out long ago in AI. Being unhappy with the available tools and concepts, I migrated to theory of programming languages and operating systems. Now I'm back to more AI stuff as I try to augment my brain to handle vast amounts of information.

What technologies or platforms are you using to work with Semantic Web data?

I don't care. Names don't matter much to me. Not sure I want to stick to one particular way of breaking things down into sub-concepts.

In the long term, I'm interested in processing huge amounts of ideas/projects/linux-source-code information. In the short term, I'm working on what I'm calling "tagspace", using ever-changing tags to manage/process (right now) bookmarks.
