Where to begin? More than the tightly curled tail, the way she yells at our other dogs when she wants to play confirmed her Shiba heritage for us. When she was a puppy she used to see her reflection in the back door-as soon as we opened it she would yell and jump out the door turning around to try and catch the reflection. Now when she's been still to long, she has to go out, yelling and running to argue with the pit bull at our back corner. She has worn a little ditch in the grass on the way to that corner. We call her our pack hygenist- our older female shepard mix hated her as a puppy, but had to give in to the intense eye, ear and teeth cleanings she would get.
Alaina is 2 and a half years old.

My name is Bruce. My spouse Mona and I have always taken on rescue dogs. We adopted Alaina thinking she was an Aussie Shepard, but discoverd she was mixed with Shiba Inu
