I hope you all already have your calendars marked for our October meetup. We have a topic that will sure to be of interest of many of you -- website planning!

Here's the official description: 

It's hard to deny that technology planning stinks. At this month's PDXTech4Good, you'll learn how to get over it and create a website technology plan for implementation and funding that will make your website dream a reality. 

Sean Larkin of ThinkShout, Inc. will talk about how to get the right people involved in your tech plan, the fundamentals to include in your plan, and how to create a story to get your website project funded.

About the Presenter

Sean Larkin brings over ten years of diverse leadership and technical consulting experience to the team. He has been working with the best and brightest software engineers and designers in the Drupal community for the past five years. He has led national community organizing initiatives and international relief projects, served as a fundraising strategist for environmental groups worldwide, and run two open source software consultancies specializing in Drupal development. He holds a master of public administration (MPA) degree from Syracuse University's Maxwell School.
