Keeping It Lean

Urban Airship's roots in lean startup and kanban methodologies have influenced their approach to product design. Concepts such as minimum viable products, iterative prototyping, and validated learning influence how UA defines, designs, develops and ultimately releases products.

Mike Calvert, Product Design Manager at Urban Airship, will talk about a recent product launch as a case study of their design process. Topics covered will include user research, prototyping, usability testing, design frameworks and other tangental details about UA's approach to design and the company in general.
