Diwali (aka Festival of Lights) Bazaar

The local Hindu temple holds a Diwali Bazaar at this time of the year. Diwali (Festival of lights) is celebrated in November, the dates change as they are based on the lunar calendar. In Diwali Bazaar you will get to sample ethnic Indian cuisine, buy Indian outfits, arts & crafts, jewellery, books, mehendi (aka henna) designs, etc. You will be able to sample most food items in $10-$15. All food items are vegetarian. You can also get a free health check. If you have never been to a Hindu temple, this would be good opportunity.

Tracy, you actually have an extra hour today. Besides, it's on airport road, so it's less distance for you. I shall be leaving in 1/2 hour, let me know if you change your mind.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
