Colorado Fat Bike State Championships

Fatbike State Championships - Como - Colorado

Situated in Como, Colorado at over 10,000 feet, our fatbike race is your opportunity to get some fun, winter FATtire competition. Amazing groomed terrain and a Rocky Mountain backdrop will help keep your fat tires turning as you hammer around the Colorado Fatbike Championships course.

Our fatbike race has been designated as the inaugural Colorado Fatbike Championship. Racers in each fatbike category are eligible to win the championship. Individuals racing fatbikes are eligible for scoring in the Mountain Fatbike Series. Non-fatbike (less than 3.8 inch wide tires) are eligible to race, but will not be counted in the Colorado Fatbike Championship or Mountain Fatbike Series scoring.
Racers can choose from racing solo or racing as a 2 or 4-person team. Teams are great for those racers who need to share a fatbike.
We will be releasing more details of the course later but it will be a challenging morning on snow!

    Hey Tim and delphinide,
I'm one of the directors of the race. There won't be specific XC skiing groomed trails, but you are welcome to head out into the woods into the ungroomed snow. It's probably better for snowshoeing. Tim, we are on private land, that is mostly in the trees at the base of the Gold Dust trail. It's tucked away from the open area down there, so the wind is minimized. You are welcome to bring the kids out to snowshoe and explore the land while you spouses race.

May have it tonight. But, it's all private land, so it wouldn't do anything for preriding info. The only preriding available is the Friday night before the race
