What a season!

In addition to a great year for the Pens, it was also an amazing time for our Meetup Group. Some of the highlights of the season:

-Switched to a new bar - Foley's!
-We got over 300 members
-We raised $1,000 for the Mario Lemieux Foundation
-We got a handful of really nice mentions on thepensblog
-Jim from "Yinz luv da guins" found us and featured us in a lot of his videos - his Game 7, SCF video being a personal fave of mine.
-mini tux
-Went to a few NJ Devils games (but I think we lost them all, oh well)
-Lots of people doing road trips to games with people they met through the Meetup Group
-Started a twitter account for the Meetup Group, getting us more members and notice
-Got two new awesome assistants in Cara and Kristin
-And we had our biggest event ever with Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals! PENS WIN THE CUP!

Hopefully we'll have a victory party soon. Lots of talk of getting together for when the DVD for the Pens season comes out (early July I think?). If you have any ideas for off season get Meetups, just shoot me an email.

Was so great getting to meet so many new people this year and sharing the game 7 victory with all of you. Just incredible.
