This is a group dedicated to following hiking trails on the SF Peninsula as well as other magically forested places that are along the Redwood Road of Northern California ...

Through each season we will track the changes in the forest regarding flora, fauna and fungi. Besides all that great hiking, our focus will be on "Wild Edible Fungus".

We will also be doing hikes of varying intensities.

The breakdown is as follows:

Discovery Hikes = slow paced to allow for the discovery of and education about fungi and other discoveries.

Strenuous Hikes = fast paced, difficult, challenging and with a few very brief stops for some learning.

Moderate Hikes = moderate paced, easier terrain with a few stops for discoveries and discussions.

**NO DOGS ALLOWED** on any of the places that I go. OpenSpace.org has dog friendly hikes and they are specified as such in the preserve literature.
