Have read the guidelines and feel that this is a safe group, especially for novice writers.
My name: Marcia Mercy R. Emerson. Have been in Roswell, GA since August, 2011. Have been interested in writing for very long time. Don't know how to start. MANY people have told me that I need to write a book(s). This group is close & on bus line.
I really like this group. Though I have been attending it for a short time, I have learned so much. Being in a room of such great and wonderful creativity is uplifting. Having a forum where we are given the opportunity to share our works in a ways that we can be true to ourselves is refreshing. I have sensed an underlying sensitivity among the members to be honest and, most importantly, encouraging with their critiques. This adds a level of safety to being in this group. This group really inspires (at least it does me) to pursue writing. The information concerning writing that is shared by Christina and Gil is invaluable; especially for novices like me. I look forward to growing and learning more.
