Please acknowledge that you will give real consideration to the following questions. We are a group of writers that are serious about establishing writing goals and actively working toward those goals and we are seeking more of the same.

What genres do you like? Who are your favorite writers?

When I read for leisure, I am addicted to Victorian romance; my favorite author in this category is Kathleen Woodwiss. I also like to read Christian inspirational novels and nonfiction. I like Kendra Norman-Bellamy and Andrea Wilson. I also like to read Sandra Brown detective novels. I am in seminary so I have read a large number of academic, theological authors. My favorite are those that write as if they are talking to me in a counseling session. Dave Earley, S.D. Gordon, A.Z. Tozer, and Billy Graham.

Have you chosen a particular genre? Format? Please elaborate: (I write short story horror, poety, romance novels, etc)

If you could write your short bio on a book jacket, what would it say?

I am writing a novel. Short stories don't seem to give me enough time to do anything significant.

We ask that you read and acknowledge that you understand RULES OF THE ROAD (Posted under 'pages'). Also, sign up here at to receive writing tips and news from PenPaperWrite.

I have read the expectations and will abide by them.

Call me Michelle. I am a middle aged wife, mother, engineer, and preacher who loves to write. I published a short story this year in an anthology, "Love Said Not So." I have many story ideas but business and ADD keep me from pursuing them.
