What genres do you like? Who are your favorite writers?

I like to read about everything across genres, but I like to write fiction about strong, interesting and flawed Latinas. Right now I'm working on a chick lit story. Next, is a noirish thriller.

Have you chosen a particular genre? Format? Please elaborate: (I write short story horror, poety, romance novels, etc)

If you could write your short bio on a book jacket, what would it say?

Liza is a generation X, English-dominant Latina who enjoys food, travel, fashion (shiny, pretty things), design and architecture and, oh yeah, is a self-identified film and pop culture geek. She has been writing for over five years and specializes in entertainment, lifestyle and Latino topics. As the CW33 Flick Chick, a film blog for the CW33 TV station in Dallas/Fort Worth, Liza reviewed films and reported on the local and regional Texas film industry. Her reviews have been syndicated across other Tribune newspaper websites, including The Baltimore Sun, Chicago Tribune and Orlando Sentinel. When Liza's not writing, she's thinking about how she should be writing. Eventually, she sits down and writes.
