What do you hope to learn from membership in this group?

My primary reasons for interacting with these communities and teaching is to demystify the nuts and bolts of homestead culture, with the intention of encouraging community self reliance and autonomy.

Do you currently practice permaculture methods at home or elsewhere? Can you describe it?

Yes. Ferment and permaculture style growing all the time. Now I just need some ducks and goats... Herbalist/preservation, animal slaughter and processing Plans to start a new affordable CSA program in NOLA.
