Different techniques that can be applied on a large or small scale. I am also very interested in community building and setting up education programs, but I don't currently have much experience with these things.
I received a Permaculture Design Certificate in June 2011. The course was taught by Andrew Millison and Marisha Auerbach through Oregon State University.
Yes. I have a small permaculture garden that includes wild volunteer plants. I study plants, raise chickens and harvest mushrooms from our land. I study natural processes and plant communities for inspiration.
I practice permaculture 1 acre in Hammond with my husband and 2-year old son. We have access to 20 acres of land where a lot of my study takes place. One day I hope to own the entire farm, an old dairy, and possibly set up a teaching program.
Get involved in community food production and permaculture gardening.
