FORAGING: hunting the abundant wild edibles and medicinal plants of our region! Spring is a great time for foraging since most annuals aren't ready for prime time yet.  There is food and medicine underfoot. Learn how to find some of the most common,  nutritious and free local food.

We WILL be going outside so, please, dress appropriately (mud! and, for the possibility of ticks, etc).

This session starts @ 9:30 and ends at approx. 12:30

We will be collecting some plants to add to the dish we will be making for the afternoon session -- lacto-fermentation. Please see the posting for the afternoon session to learn more.
