Saturday 12/18 - Cob Studio - December Meetup!

Please join us for our December Meetup at the picturesque Cob studio and Workshop (the building looks like it belongs on holiday cards, so it's a great place for a Dec. meetup!)

We will gather to hear a brief talk about building with cob, courtesy of Cara Graver, our hostess for this event, share some refreshments, engage in a a general discussion about Guild happenings - past and future, and have some time to socialize with one another. Cara will also be offering for sale beautiful, handmade crafts and pottery; this a great way to pick up some local, hand-crafted (and last minute) holiday gifts! (Cara has graciously offered her studio to us and, if at all possible - not by any means required - it would be nice if we all consider bringing a donation for the Cob Studio, and/or make a purchase while there - support local artisans!) It's been a long, but very productive year for EPPG (our membership continues to grow), let's get together to celebrate! Hope to see you there. This is such an interesting group. Wished I'd had more time to talk with folks at the meeting.

Good, missed the opening hour which I'm gathering was information on the structure, the pottery studio, etc., which I would have loved to have seen. I feel like there could have been a little more structure to the meet-and-greet section. Would love to have an end-time when meet-ups are posted. Fantastic to see everyone, meet new faces, catch up with familiar ones, etc.

Thanks to all for coming to this wonderful event (some from very far away)! Special thanks to Cara & King, our hosts, for their hospitality & for sharing info. about their cob building experience :) It was a wonderful opportunity to meet newer members, see familiar faces & hear about all the interests, talents and skills that exist within the EPPG.
