"Cuisine Sauvage" -- Eat the weeds!
We will be learning about some of the wild edible and medicinal plants which grow throughout our region during the spring & summer months. We'll be identifying some of the most common wild edibles of the season, learn about harvesting and the preparation of wild foods and discussing the beneficial uses of some of the plants in nature's 'Farmacy'.
To really know and understand nature we must observe it! This workshop will teach you how to put on your 'foraging glasses'-- helping you to learn how to safely collect edible and medicinal plants (as well as the important conservation techniques which help to ensure future harvests & how to manage invasive plants through harvesting/using them)!
