Good friend and fellow Permie, Aaron Guman, directed me here to sign up for an Edible Food Forest workshop with Eric Toensmeier in May of 2011. Great website!! So good to be up to date on all the permacultural events in the area. Big thanks Melissa! You rock!
ALL... but really really, I'm interested in re-mediation. I want learn techniques with permacultural ethics to take toxins out of rivers, creeks and soil around Chester County (and everywhere). I'm excited about a project called DePave, and phyto and myco remediation would be helpful pulling out asphalt/petroleum toxins from the soil after we remove the asphalt from an abandoned parkinglot, say, so we can build a functioning garden/play space and grow edible, healthy food there. I'm also really interested in Cobbing workshops/projects. I get really excited about soil and building soil - BioChar. If it comes from a permacultural stand point, you can't go wrong in my book.
HeyYa Pennsylvania Permies - so honored to be with you. I took my first PDC course in January 2011 in CA w/ Erik Ohlsen and Starhawk's Earth Activist Training. Been visioning, creating and conversating ever since. Permaculture is the revolution! LOVE
