GMO Free PA is a grassroots nonprofit organization advocating for legislation that requires mandatory labeling of genetically engineered foods. Bill SB 653, requiring labeling of genetically engineered foods, was introduced in the Pennsylvania Senate on March 11, 2013, by Senator Daylin Leach of the 7th district.
GMO Free PA’s greatest goal at this time is to increase awareness and encourage citizens throughout the state to mobilize and let their legislators know that they want genetically engineered foods to be labeled.
