I would like some help on a project in Philadelphia. I recently purchased a building with two adjacent lots in the city (South Kensington). My plan is to renovate to NET0 or NET+ energy and water use using the Integrative Design Process. It requires the team to work together up front and set energy goals and then design to meet them (within the budget constraints). The idea is that it will ultimately offer a the results we want for regular market or below reno costs. And do it all within the city building code. I am not quite convinced it is going to work without some significant creativity, time and some help.
I am looking for someone to help me with searching out (I have done quite a bit already) sources for low interest funding, incentives, and grants that my project will qualify for. And, help with organizing and submitting the proper paperwork to the necessary places.
The process is interesting and the team of people pretty remarkable, I am hoping this will be a draw. If we are successful, it will be a model for other row homes in Philly. Philly~off the grid!!
Here's hoping I get a yes.
