It's always lots of fun!

Subject: Come out & help with tree paste!
Spring is finally here!! The fruit trees have been pruned and now it's time to apply the Biodynamic Tree Paste. We will start at 9 am in the garden with the mixing of the ingredients; clay, sand, cow manure and water. Then we will go out and "paint" the trunks of the fruit trees. It sounds a little crazy but we always have fun!
Your help is needed and appreciated!
Here are the details:
Who: Anyone interested over the age of 11. No small children, please.
What: Mixing the Biodynamic tree paste and painting it on the fruit trees to protect and nourish the bark.
When: Saturday April 19th (Easter Saturday) starting at 9am and going until about noon.
Where: Kimberton Waldorf School Garden
Why: The paste nourishes and protects the trees.
Plus, it's kinda fun and it is one of our spring garden traditions!
How: We will have paint brushes available but many people prefer to use gloved hands.
Please wear clothes that can get very dirty and smelly. You may want to bring a change of clothes. Gloves are a necessity, but not leather. Rubber cleaning gloves are probably best but lightweight garden gloves also work well.
If it is raining, we will have to reschedule.
Please let me know if you are coming by return email. Bring others!
I hope to see many of you soon,
