Wild Edibles Saturday May 3 from 9 am to 2 pm at Mt. Cuba Center

Join expert forager and ethnobotanist Lytton Musselman as we explore Mother Nature's wide assortment of edible plants. Taste some of her unusual greens, try edible flowers, and enjoy native fruit.

Learn identification, responsible collecting, and processing of common wild plants including alien invasive species. This is a hands-on course which includes foraging for plants and preparing simple edible samples. Bring your lunch and be prepared to walk outdoors.

Lytton Musselman, is a botany professor at Old Dominion University and a friend of Garrison Kielor. He will sign copies of his latest book, The Quick Guide to Wild Edible Plants which includes recipes tested by the author.
