Greetings Permies,

On Saturday, August 2nd we will come together at the site of our fourth permablitz in Bonita Springs to have a biochar workshop, potluck, and seed/plant exchange. Here is the schedule:

9:00am - 9:30am Arrival / socializing. Tea, coffee, yerba mate will be provided.

9:30am - 11:00am Regional permaculture meeting: We are hosting some permies from the broader region to discuss organizing events.

11:00am - 12:30pm Biochar workshop: Joe Pierce (Micanopy Joe) will led a biochar workshop. Joe is currently working on integrating energy production with biochar production for use in off-grid homes and experimenting with microbial inoculation of biochar as well as it's potential use as a hydro/aquaponic medium.

12:30pm - 1:30pm Potluck: Bring your favorite dish (from organic homegrown ingredients if you can).

1:30pm - 2:30pm Seed/Plant Exchange: Bring your favorite permaculture plants and share them!

Feel free to stop by for any part or stay for the whole event. See you then!

A learning experience, appreciated the demo and teaching the biochar method...exactly what I needed to know to improve the soil to start growing a food farm. To all that came and shared the gifts of your garden both to exchange and taste...You're Amazing.
