10th Annual Roar for the Cure Ride
The 10th Annual Roar for the Cure Ride is a Benefit Ride for the American Cancer Society leaving from Freedom Cycle, outside of Wilmington, DE
This was the first group ride I ever did. I enjoyed it so much that when it was over, I went home, jumped online and came across PMRG. The ride this year will be my 6th straight year that I have taken part in
It is an Escorted, Well Organized,(Though truth be told, last year's ride got off to a shaky start due to someone going down right at the beginning of the ride) not overly huge ride. Last year there were app 175 riders. It goes through parts of Delaware before returning to PA. Ending just back inside the DE state line.
We will meetup at 10:00 and be on the road by 10:30 for the easy, less than 1/2 Hour ride to Freedom Cycle.
Please note. This is the first of the 3 "Super Wawa's" that you encounter traveling south on Rt 1 from Rt 452. It is just past ValleyBrook Road at the intersection with Stoney Bank Road, before you reach Rt 322
Just a reminder. As we will be riding in DE, state law says you must have a helmet with you. You don't have to wear it, just have it with you.
Hope to see you there
