I'm not sure which books you have already read but I very much enjoyed reading "Snow" by Orhan Pamuk. It's a very much a modern Turkish novel in that I am not sure whether to classify it as European or Middle Eastern. Additionally, all the characters are incredibly complicated and broken people. It is definitely a novel that inspires heated debate about politics, love, spirituality, charity, etc.
I'm currently reading Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle" and am absolutely loving it. I'm on the last dozen pages and am dreading finishing it.
On a recent road trip, my friend and I listened to Dean Koontz's "Your Heart Belongs To Me"; I loved every minute of it.
Hello, my name is Shaadi. I am new to Philadelphia and am hoping to meet some interesting people through meetup.
