"The Center for Literacy
will hold the first demonstration of its kind to bring awareness to the fact that that illiteracy in Philadelphia affects way more people than just Charlie Kelly. On November 20th, at high noon, the CFL and other volunteers from organizations and groups around the city will convene on 1401 JFK Blvd (Municipal Services Building Courtyard) and freeze in place while reading for two minutes. Although it may at first seem silly, the CFL is fighting the good fight; it seems the ?freeze? is the best way to bring to attention to what is largely considered an under appreciated social ill in our city. More than five hundred demonstrators are expected to attend which, at very least, could turn into the largest game of socially responsible ?Red Light, Green Light? ever."
