Introduction

My name is Bill Gutches. I am a successful Program and Project Manager in Information Technology providing professional services to clients in many industries. Currently I am doing hardware and software training for disabled veterans with VCC.

What is your business?

I have several business lines at present: Job Assistance Consultant for individuals in "Job Search" mode'; Professional Services in Web Content and Social Media; Training and Equipment set up for Veterans returning from areas of conflict. My primary source of income for the last 10 - 15 years has been in Program and Project Management for large scale business solution implementations for companies in the Insurance, Energy, Investment, and Manufacturing industries.

What would you like to learn from other members?

I am interested in improving my sales and marketing skills as well as learning how to expand my business so that others can be employed through my offerings.

What knowledge do you bring to the table for the other members?

I have had two Chapter "S" corporations in my career and have worked for quite a number of client companies in many industries. I have a deep background in technological capabilities and a good understanding of how organizations work whether they are For Profit or Non-Profits. I like to think that I can help people understand how to get the most benefit from technology with the most efficient expenditure as possible (bang for the buck!).

What are your top short and long term goals?

Build a legacy for others to take over; Write one or more books on Software Engineering and related fields; Improve my 'presence' on the web; Continue to deliver value for the right price; Meet new and interesting people around the world;
