Weekly Opportunity, year-round: Wednesday Nights, 6-8 pm for our Women’s Support Group
Dignity Housing hosts a support group for our women that are either recovering from alcohol or drug addictions or have experienced abuse. We are searching for volunteers to take care of the children so that the mothers can concentrate on recovering, connecting, and supporting. Volunteers watch movies and play games with youth. Typically there are about 10 children that attend. Volunteers for childcare must go through a background check ($10) and a child clearance check ($10) required by the state of PA in order to work with children.
