This is writing as meditation in community, a carefully structured process that includes spontaneous writing and optional sharing in a supportive, deeply listening environment. You'll hear poetry from many sources to inspire and delight. No writing experience is necessary. The group is open to anyone willing to write in the company of others. You may use this course to develop a greater ease with, and openness to, the process of writing; or you may use it to help deepen your relationship with yourself and others, or to help you through life changes and transitions. If you already write, you can use it to fertilize your creative process. You can also use it to explore and expand a journal writing experience. I am a teaching and performing poet and have been leading these groups for fifteen years. Membership is open and fluid. Come as you can. Sliding scale fee, $10-20 per session--you pick.
