Please remember to bring an up-to-date copy of your dogs shot records. No dog will be allowed into the park without proof of current vaccinations. Humans are free but there is a $5.00 charge for each dog to enter the park. The event will be from 12-3pm. Please let me know how many people and beagles will be attending. Hope you can make it!

Barney and I attended today's meet-up at Canine Creature Comforts and I really enjoyed seeing such a pack of Beagles. I am interested in getting together on a more personal level with all our Beagle friends. So I am offering a smaller group get-together at my house. If this is successful, I would like to have regular meetings and we can rotate the attendees. Lots of sniffing potential, not to mention room to really run but your dog can be out of sight. I have just over a half acre fenced in. A half an acre is 22,000 square feet (imagine a room 150 feet by 150 feet, with trees and shrubs). The space we were in today would fit in a small corner of my property. So if you feel uncomfortable with your dog in a large space with other loose dogs, either because of shyness or dominance, this might not be the best venue. You have to be responsible for your dog's behavior. But I would love to start getting together on a regular basis and see our Beagles do what they do best - run and have fun. If you go to Google Earth you can see what my lot looks like. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Join us for Yappy Hour!!! All breeds are invited so please bring a friend and their dog. Proof of vaccination is required for all pooches. This will be a great time for all. While the owners "play", imbibing on beer & wine, the dogs will be running around, tiring themselves out for the night. There will also be munchies for everyone. This is a great time to catch up with one another, make new friends...oh, and the owners can do that too! We look foward to seeing everyone there! The $5/drink donation will go to Cascade Beagle Rescue East for the beer and wine. http://www.cascadere scue.org/east.html
