June brunch at Parc!

Hey girls! Guess what, you get TWO brunch announcements in the same day! June brunch will be at Parc, the beautiful, well-loved French bistro in Rittenhouse Square! The Philly Brunch Club went here last spring. Parc has a wonderful menu year-round, but it is extra special in warm weather, due to the restaurant's open layout and prime location overlooking Rittenhouse Square. Parc is very popular, so we planned ahead and made this reservation, like, six weeks in advance. Be impressed with your organizers ;)

Here is Parc's website: http://www.parc-restaurant.com/

I'm going to borrow Morgan's info from the May event description now, because it's relevant to this event too: "We have had a ton of new girls join the group in the past month, which is very exciting! I just want to reiterate our no show policy for all the new members. Due to the nature of this group and the fact that we must make a reservation at the restaurant, it is essential that we have an accurate head count of who is attending the meetup at least 24 hours in advance. Please be considerate of other group members and the restaurant when making your RSVP. If something last minute comes up, please make every effort to change your RSVP at least 24 hours before the meetup. Two unexplained no shows will result in removal from the group.

Also, if you are joining us for the first time, please bring money for dues! While I love brunching out every month and getting to meet everyone through this site, running a meetup group isn't free and I really appreciate everyone contributing just a little bit to cover the fees. This money doesn't go to us, it goes directly to Meetup."

Merci beacoup! Until we brunch again!

I was on the waiting list until late last night. I am sorry but I didn't realize that a spot opened up until just now. I made alternate plans and I cannot attend. Hope you all enjoy your lunch!

How does the waiting list work

    May 22, 2013

    • Morgan M.

Hi Elizabeth! If someone that RSVP'd yes decides they can't make it, then the next person on the waiting list is automatically RSVP'd for the event. If they can't make it, then it will go on down the list. It's just a nice function that Meetup has to ensure that we always have a great group of girls in attendance!
