Brunch at Mixto - Meet the new co-organizers!

  • Sep 15, 2013 · 11:00 AM

For our late summer/early fall brunch, let's try to recapture some of the the lazy days of summer with a Latin-inspired meal at Mixto in Washington Square West! In its review, Zagat says the atmosphere is "like being on vacation" (  I've heard enough! Find the menu here:[masked]

The inagural brunch of The Philly Brunch Club was actually at Mixto, so it will be the perfect place to return to as we ramp up our events schedule for the fall!  We have three new co-organizers of the group too so this is a great time to come out to meet the new leadership team.

Additionally, we have had a ton of new girls join the group in the past month, which is very exciting! I just want to reiterate our no show policy for all the new members. Due to the nature of this group and the fact that we must make a reservation at the restaurant, it is essential that we have an accurate headcount of who is attending the meetup at least 24 hours in advance. Please be considerate of other group members and the restaurant when making your RSVP. If something last minute comes up, please make every effort to change your RSVP at least 24 hours before the meetup. Two unexplained no shows will result in removal from the group.

Also, if you are joining us for the first time please bring money for dues!  While I love brunching out every month and getting to meet everyone through this site, running a meetup group isn't free and I really appreciate everyone contributing just a little bit to cover the fees.  This money doesn't go to the organizers of the group, it goes directly to Meetup.
