Brunch at Figs and First Sunday at the Art Museum

  • April 6, 2014 · 11:00 AM

Figs is a Moroccan-inspired restaurant in Fairmount. Zagat says: "a 'neighborhood favorite' for its 'cosmopolitan' menu, including 'marvelous' weekend brunch offerings." Brunch menu here: http://www.figsrestaurant.com/#!brunch

Please note that the restaurant is CASH ONLY and BYOB. If you are driving, the restaurant suggested parking in the lot on Fairmount Ave between 22nd and 23rd Street (next to Eastern State Penitentiary).

While I love brunching in Fairmount, one of the main reasons I picked this spot is that it's really close to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. On the First Sunday of every month, admission at the Art Museum is pay-what-you-wish! Whoever is interested after brunch can head over and enjoy some of the great collections there for an unbeatable price!

I see that this meetup is full and the wait list is pretty significant so I probably wont be able to attend but I would love to go to the art museum with the group afterward. Let me know if this is possible...

Definitely! Everyone is welcome to come to the Art Museum, obviously we don't need a specific count of people like we do at the restaurant. Keep an eye on the RSVPs a day or two before as well, usually there's a lot of turnover as plans change. See you then!
