Asian 20's and 30's Meetup Group is a social-networking group that studies Asian languages, plays games (Mahjong, Chinese Chess, go, etc.) and contributes to the Philadelphia area community via volunteer and charity events. We practice the "3 Fs"- Fun, Friendship, and Filanthropy. We also do club nights, happy hours, outdoor events, museum trips, dining out at Asian restaurants (dim sum, sushi, Korean bbq, pho, etc.)- pretty much anything fun. Our goal is to have a fun, productive, and united Asian-Pacific American community. Join us and come to one of our upcoming events. We'd love to welcome you in person!

We especially love hiking and everything outdoors but lately I find myself persuading friends to go and do stuff with me simply because it is not their kind of thing. That leaves me not doing as much of the hiking I want to do because it's better to do these things with other people. Anyway, my search for people to do these things with led me here only to find most of the groups are filled with members who are older than me."

So that is how this group came to be!

Any outdoor adventure will be game, including local hikes, weekend backpacking trips/road trips, winter hikes/trips, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing, Wine tasting, Food tasting, tennis, karaoke, Clubbing, dancing, Movie night, game night, Yoga, trying out new foods, Softball and many more!!!!

So here's the scoop:

1.  Anybody who are Asian and it is in their 20's /30's (students, grads, etc.) can join!  Yes, we request your age to make it easier to decide if you meet this requirement (you must be approved).

2.  All members can suggest meetup ideas!  Ideas are highly encouraged and expected.

3.  Once the meetup has a date and place specified, it will be announced to the rest of the group.  Only "Event Organizers" can make these announcements.
