Sorry everyone,
My first lesson as a meetup organizer - hitting "reply" sends to the entire list!  Well, I did want to take some time to introduce myself to the group, which you get can the gist of from the email below.  Since I'm new to this, and by no means am expert in Philly's theater scene, I'm definitely open to any assistant organizers.  Just shoot me an email if interested.

Hi Matt,
Unfortunately I joined the Philly Theatre meetup kind of late so we never met, but I just took the plunge and signed up to be the new organizer.  I don't have any particular experience in theatre or in the Philadelphia arts scene, but I'd hate to see the group die and I've enjoyed the other meetups I've been to. 
 
I'm hoping you can let me know if you have any tips for running this meetup.  In particular I'm wondering how you handle the ticket situation.  Since some shows can be pricey, do folks usually just go online and get their own tickets in advance?  Or did you try to arrange to a group purchase? 
 
Hope you're having a good time in NY, and good luck with your classes.

Hi Guys,

As I've said in my info about the meetup, I am off to NYC to study musical theatre writing at Tisch. I am there now about to start classes Tuesday.
So I need a new organizer to step up. I wanted to keep the meetup going and I've enjoyed going to the events I've scheduled. I am passionate about Philadelphia theatre and hope this group can continue and grow and have events with more than just me! :)

Please get in touch soon to become the new organizer, I will not be able to schedule new events from New York.
