Hi Loren-I used to run totally barefoot when I lived in Philly (glass on street and all). When I moved to Huntingdon Valley, I switched over to Vibrams because I kept stepping on painful sticks and burrs (worse than glass surprisingly). Plus, I train in Aikido and was getting tired of having stained brown feet in the dojo. I love my VFF KSOs which are the thinnest I could find to get that barefoot feel. I've been barefooting for 2+ years and will NEVER go back to running sneakers! Good luck!

Hey Loren and welcome to the group! I like to run early am as well and do long runs on weekends. Hopefully we'll meet soon. It sounds like you have a lot of experience with running and races and will be a great addition to the group :)
