Re: [php-353] Question! Need MAC counterpart to Windows' Notepad to edit and save PHP files

I don't do a lot of php development on the Mac because my preferred platform is

When I do use the Mac I use Coda - http://www.panic.... It is reasonably
priced and works well.

If it's JUST editing files then try JEdit - It's a
comprehensive multi-pane editor with all the bells and whistles you'd expect.
It requires Java which your Mac should already have. There are plugins for lots
of things like FTP and SFTP. I use it all the time on my Linux, Windows, and
Mac systems. Oh, and it's free!

Good luck!

I don't want any of the freeware editing/"CMS" applications. I just want the most simple, no-frills, no built-in functionality available, like Notepad. Thank you in advance for any information you may share.
