July Project Night

Join us for a project night at The Hacktory! Work on Python projects, get programming help, work through tutorials, help others, and hang out with Pythonistas, artists, engineers, and hackers.

Our Python workshop instructors will be available to answer questions. Staff from The Hacktory will also be available to suggest project ideas.

This event is cross-listed on the Girl Develop It meetup site. Please register once.

Audience: Open to everyone! We welcome new coders and more experienced coders. We hope to see lots of our Python workshop graduates.

When: 7pm - 9pm on Thursday, July 11th

Where: The Hacktory (Department of Making and Doing) at The Science Center, 3711 Market Street.

Things to bring: a laptop and power cord

    I've never done any python, are there any tools I should preload? Does it matter what OS I'm using or should I use a particular one?

      You can use any OS you want. Mac and Linux should come with Python. If you use Windows you'll want to install Python first. This page should help:­
