Hometown: South Philly
April 20, 2010
I'm a robotics engineer from Philadelphia. I use python for a myriad of things and find that it is just a pleasure to work with. I hope to learn from and give back to our local Philly python community.
I think it is very good. We are young but gaining nice traction in the city. Thanks mostly due the awesome PhillyPUG members and the fact that Python is a really great and approachable language and those who use it seem to want to get together periodically to share knowledge and socialize. I enjoy PhillyPUG.
Thanks for the welcome to the group. Apologies for the tardy response. I'm pretty pumped for Tuesday. I'm a quite fan of python, but sadly dont get to use it much in embedded work. I've also found the API for writing extensions to be a bit cumbersome. Perhaps a bit of insight may change that, so I'm looking forward to learning more. Also, are you, or any of the group that you know of, going to be at TEDx? Anyway, I'll see you then.
