Kizomba vs. Salsa - yes, you read that right!

Have you been wondering what the buzz about "Kizomba" is all about? Well, tonight, you can get a taste of this new Latin Dance style that is becomming more popular in the dance scene. Jose will be teaching a beginner lesson at 7:00pm, then an intermediate lesson from 8:00pm till 9:00pm. Need more reason to come out and try this? How about . . . just $5.00 per lesson for Philly Salsa Meetup member, courtesy of Jose Gonzales. And the cover for the 9:00pm Salsa lesson and open dancing is still just $10.00. So be sure to RSVP for the special discount that Jose has graciously given to the Philly Salsa Meetup members, and get ready to learn a new Latin dance style. So now is the time to take advantage of this discount and learn a new dance style, and then heat up the Stardust dance floor for another great night of Latin dance.

I had a great time and especially enjoyed the kizomba lesson even though I was a hour late for the lesson.I am looking forward to making more lessons. I have the lesson location for Phila. Where is the lesson for South Jersey?

To all the PSM members who attended the Kizomba lesson on saturday, well . . . . I can only say . . . . BOY, THAT WAS FUN!. The instructors were Jackie Rozzo and Ryan Kirby, if you enjoyed their lesson, be sure to drop them a note via the Philly Salsa Meetup page on facebook. Something tells me that we will soon experience more Kizomba in this area, so it it great to be getting in on the groud floor. But as good as the Kizomba part of the evening was, let's not forget the efforts of Jose Gonzales in organizing and hosting these Latin dance events at The Stardust. And on that same subject, be sure to send a high-five to Luther Lockard for his continual work as the Organizer for the Philly Salsa Meetup.
So besure to give your feedback to the instructors, be sure to upload any photos that you took, and get ready for our next event on July 12.

Looks like we will have quite a few new members again at tonight's event, so be sure to introduce yourself all around. For most of us, this will be our first taste of Kizomba, so we all will be at pretty much the same level for lessons and dancing.
Don't forget those cameras, be sure to upload your pictures to the Meetup page, and tag yourself and your friends.
Any other questions, drop me, Luther, or Jose Gonzales a note. Catch up tonight.

Just so you know this latin night will be just like the others. Same music but will throw in some kizomba in here and there to practice what was learned in the workshop. See you Saturday.

Wow, Don. Okey Dokey. I guess by the time 2016 comes in, dance clubs will run through all the sexy latin risqué dances from every country. Lol.
