Preakness Horse Race Bus Trip - All Day Concert & Festival!

A great action-packed, fun day trip here everyone!  Everything is included for one low price.  Go to the 138th Preakness Stakes horse race just outside of Baltimore and have a blast sunning yourself, beverage in hand, all day long while listening to bands TBA!  Do not miss out, this is a fun one!

This year, Pitbull and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are performing LIVE on the main stage!  It's going to be a great day for sure!

Trip Details - Preakness Horse Race Bus Trip - All Day Concert & Festival!
Trip Itinerary   Saturday, May 18th, 2013

6:15AM: (yeah, it's a bit early, but we have to leave early to get there early to avoid lines to get into the infield and to see the bands You can sleep on the bus if you want!)

Trip sign-in starts.  You will get your Preakness ticket and T-Shirt.  Load and board the buses at c - 2100 S Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19148 (Delaware Ave by Ikea)  We will have approval to park here for the day - please look for our buses and be sure to get one of our parking notes to put in your car.  Be sure to park away from where customers park as well and please leave the parking lot clean before we get on the bus.

7:00AM:
Promptly depart for Preakness.  Some beer and water will be supplied on the bus down and back.  Buses leave at 7:00AM sharp!  Do not be late!  We will not be waiting for people since we have to get to the Preakness gates as early as possible to avoid lines and to see Mr Greengenes.

7:00AM - 9:00AM:
Meet new people on the bus!  Have your breakfast, coffee, or maybe even a beer :)

9:00AM:
Arrive at Preakness. We will park in the Bus Parking section located on the map.  As a group, we will enter the Infield area.  If you cannot find the group, please contact Mark or Dennis  to be best guided to the group area.  It's really easy now!

7:00 PM:
Meet back at the buses. This is about 30 minutes after the The Preakness Race (there IS a race after the Preakness).  The Preakness race is over at about 6:25pm giving you some time to cash in your winning tickets!  If you have an issue finding the bus, please contact PhillyTrips Staff.  The pickup location will be the EXACT same location as where the bus parked. DO NOT BE LATE! 

7:30PM:

After the Preakness race is over, you will board the buses and head on back to Philly. You can expect the bus to depart for Philadelphia about 1 hour after the "Preakness" Race is completed.

55 dont wait for 1New Bus Policy...Due to requests from our customers we now have a strict '55 dont wait for 1' policy. The bus will leave ON TIME, at roughly 730pm, or 10 minutes after they re-open the gate to cross the track after the last race.  There will be no waiting for stragglers. PhillyTrips is NOT responsible for any additional travel expenses you might have to pay (Taxi, train, car rental, hotel, etc.) should you miss the bus home.

10:00PM:
Arrive back in Philadelphia at Champp's.

  • the Meetup is cancelled
  • the Meetup is rescheduled
  • you can cancel at least 17 day(s) before the Meetup

Additional notes: Your deposit is fully refundable until Friday April 12th, 2013 @ 5pm. Your deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made after this date and any additional monies sent to us will be refunded. No monies will be refunded for cancellations made after Ma
