Bike and Brunch (at Bourbon Blue)

So this Sunday is supposed to be pretty nice...high 60s, low chance of rain, partly sunny...sounds like a good day to get out for a bike ride and catch some brunch on the deck.

We'll meet at Lloyd Hall - the public/first boat house on boat house row at the intersection of Kelly & Sedgley drive - at 11am. I'll have my green and silver MONGOOSE mountain bike. I'll also comment on the meetup that morning so you know what I'm wearing so you can find me. I will be near the water fountains/bathrooms.

We'll bike along Kelly Drive and through Manayunk and down past the Manayunk Canal on the Schuylkill River trail until we get to the Miquon Regional Rail Station. That should be about 9 miles. We'll turn around and head back to Manayunk where we'll stop at Bourbon Blue for brunch on the deck before heading back to Lloyd Hall.

Total bike ride will be about 18 miles. Make sure you can do this!!!

And make sure to check out Bourbon Blue's brunch/lunch menu before you go so you know what to expect to pay.

I DO NOT KNOW HOW CROWDED BOURBON BLUE IS GOING TO BE OR IF THERE WILL BE A WAIT. I INTEND TO WAIT REGARDLESS OF WAIT TIME IN ORDER TO SIT ON THE DECK. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP PLAN IN CASE OF A LONG WAIT TIME AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO WAIT. YOU ARE FREE TO FINISH THE BIKE RIDE ON YOUR OWN IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO WAIT.

I ALSO PLAN ON GETTING A BEER OR TWO SO I WILL NOT BE IN A RUSH TO LEAVE THE DECK.

WE'LL DO OUR BEST TO KEEP THE GROUP TOGETHER WHEN SEATING BUT DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION AND WAIT TIMES, WE MIGHT BREAK INTO SMALLER TABLE GROUPS.
