I'm currently interested in readings related to eternal recurrence (Nietzsche's answer to Western nihilism). I'm seeking a group with which to read specific texts (Zarathustra, Gay Science, Heidegger's lectures, Deleuze's Difference and Repetition.

Tell us a little about why you are interested in philosophy.

It's still all about living an examined life.

I attempted a reading of Lacan several times (starting out with Four Fundamental Concepts of Psychoanalysis) but it seemed as esoteric as Kabbalah, which I haven't attempted yet. I think it takes a lot of intellectual maturity, discipline or a very special mind set and diving into Lacan unprepared could make anyone go mad. Seriously. :-)

Unfortunatly there are no groups on Deleuze, Heidegger or Nietzsche, but I have written about all three. Perhaps we could write/talk about this?
